rescued pets in need of homes

When adding a new pet to your family consider adoption through a local animal shelter, humane society or rescue group. To find a shelter in northeast Ohio click here . We can also recommend rescue groups for almost any breed of dog, just call or e-mail us for a list of phone numbers.

We often see stray or lost dogs roaming around with no identification. We make it a priority to call the local authorities to have the animal returned to it's home when there is an ID. In some cases, there is no home for the animal so we either turn the dog into the Cuyahoga County Kennel or The Animal Protective League. Rarely, but when necessary, we may take a lost dog to the Gateway Animal Clinic for a check up so the dog can stay with us while we find a home for it. To see the dogs we've rescued, click here.
