happy endings...
dogs we've rescued and found homes for!

While driving our routes, we occasionally see a stray or lost dog roaming unfamiliar territory. We make it a priority to call the local authorities to have the animal returned to its home. In some cases, there is no home. In those cases we either turn the dog into the Cuyahoga County Kennel or The Animal Protective League and in some case we may take it to the Gateway Animal Clinic for a check up so the dog can stay with us while we find it a permanent home.

"TRISTAN"
After a long time in dog foster care, we found a home for Tristan with a lovely couple from Madison,Ohio. Tristan is now living with 3 other female collie rescues and seems to be fitting right in. Thanks to Christy and Bill in Pittsburgh, PA and their dogs Sirouk and Zeke for fostering Tristan for just over one year. He was originally rescued from the city of Cleveland on Martin Luther King Blvd.
possum rescue
"POSSUM"
Hiding in our back yard in the middle of a blizzard, this shivering little puggle warmed up to become a bundle of lovable energy. Possum now lives with a nice vet assistant.
"ROXY"
We found this stray roaming alone and lost on Cleveland's west side. She was very friendly and excited to ride in our car. We were able to locate her owner through her Rabies tag from the Gateway Animal Clinic. Roxy is at home safe and sound with her owners.

"SCRUFFY"
We found this stray roaming alone and lost in Tremont. He is a friendly chow/shepherd male mix good with other dogs and cats. He was turned over to the City of Cleveland Kennel for evaluation and adoption.

BELLE
A 10 year old Staffordshire Terrier we found roaming the streets of Cleveland. We cleaned her up and placed her in a loving home this past summer. Dick Goddard from Fox 8 news even broadcast a message looking for her owner, but he never responded.
COACH
A 4 year old "pure" black Labrador Retriever. She was found with no collar on the near west side of Cleveland. We took her to Dr. Brian at the Gateway Animal Clinic for a check up and spay. She is now happily living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a good family.

CODA
A 2 year old abandoned Doberman Pincher from Cleveland. Coda spent about 2 months with us learning socialization skills so she could find a good home. She is now living in Indiana with a huge yard and a Dobie brother.

RONIN
A 4 year old Norwegian Elkhound found stranded in the Flats. We picked him up, gave him a bath and medical treatment and helped him find a new home in Tremont.
